Day 5- Storm's a'Brewing

Here in Washington, at least in my area, we've had a ton of wind and dark, heavy clouds. So this late post is going to be a list of things for people who- like me- are always plugged in to do when the power is out.

  • Stare at your screen in disbelief
  • Try out a new soup recipe, if you have a gas stove
  • Make a fruit salad
  • Cry
  • Teach yourself to draw something
  • Make a fairy house
  • Weep
  • Learn a card game
  • Write a haiku
  • Pace
  • Sing along to your mp3's
  • Take a bubble bath by candlelight
  • Take a nap
  • Play with your hair and/or makeup
  • Try on every article of clothing in different combinations and come up with new outfits
  • Refesh the internet page you were trying to look at
  • Dance around the house
  • Come up with a new music genre
  • Lay in bed and contemplate the meaning of existance
  • Make a list of everything blue in your house
  • Read the labels on random things
  • Complain
  • Watch the rain/wind
  • Read a good book
  • Wait for the internet to come back on
